  1. This is really a great news topic. I have read some blogs about Asian students experiencing discrimination. So this topic will get much attention.
You mentioned that there are “more and more” Asian students being discriminated against. It will be better if you add some statistics to prove this point. For example, cite a graph of “Asian students who have been racially discriminated against in the last decade” to show this trend. And it would be good to include some statistics in the news. For example, data about in 2022, what percentage of Asian students have experienced racial discrimination, and in what areas.
In addition to this, are your second and third interviewers also Chinese? If so, it would be better to change other people. Because if the respondents are from different countries in Asia, it is more multi-faceted.

  2. Hi, Nachuan. It sounds like a reasonable pitch with a simple and concise structure. The main picture is attractive and related. However, the overall article is a little broad; it will be better to narrow down your topic or be more specific on each part. Additionally, is this a feature story or commentary?

Secondly, have you found some relevant sources about the root causes of discrimination or specific forms? Will you hyperlink the materials in your story?

Finally, the interviewees focus on the students, the story’s subject. Would you consider adding a second perspective? Like opinions from an expert?
